Overview
Powered Boy is an innovative program that engages boys and young men in conversations about gender equality while building their technical and leadership skills. We focus on developing positive masculinity, emotional intelligence, and inclusive leadership to create male allies in the fight for gender equality.
The Problem
Traditional masculinity concepts often discourage boys from supporting gender equality initiatives. Many young men lack positive male role models and struggle with emotional expression, leading to behaviors that perpetuate gender inequality and limit their own personal development.
Our Solution
Our comprehensive approach includes: positive masculinity workshops and discussions, emotional intelligence and communication skills training, inclusive leadership development programs, peer mentoring and support groups, and collaborative projects with Powered Girl participants.
